Thursday, 2nd December was the 228th Installation of the Lodge. After 2 years in the chair (an extended stay due to COVID), W. Bro. Lee Grayshon installed his successor, W. Bro. Michael Cunliffe, into the Chair of King Solomon as the lodge’s newest Worshipful Master, in the presence of many members of the lodge, visitors, and the Provincial Assistant Grand Master, W. Bro. Ian Lewis.

After entering the lodge and being welcomed by the outgoing Worshipful Master, W. Bor. Lewis was, as is custom, offered the gavel. Rather than declining, as is usual, W. Bro. Lewis accepted, took charge of the lodge, and called W. Bro. Glyn Davies, the the lodge Mentor, to the floor, where he proceed to promote him to the rank of Past Provincial Junior Grand Warden. A thoroughly deserved promotion for W. Bro. Glyn, who spends many hours teaching the newer brethren all about Freemasonry.

The gavel was then returned to W. Bro. Grayshon, and an excellent Installation ceremony and Festival of St. John was enjoyed by all.
