Saturday, 11 December 2021, saw the return of our annual Children’s Christmas Party – and 24 children had a great time and a great start to their Christmas season – welcome indeed, following the months of pandemic disruption.
We were very pleased to welcome some Brethren from other lodges on this occasion, and Birthday Boy visitor, Daniel Sauri received an enthusiastic ‘Happy Birthday’ accolade from all the guests and staff at CGMH.
The event concluded with every child receiving a gift from Santa (SW Mark Cusick), who can conceal his ‘real calling’ from the wider world, no longer. Each child also received an additional chocolate gift and Christmas pencil and eraser, on departure.
With particular thanks from the Worshipful Master to magician and entertainer Mark Dominic, the staff at Castle Grove Masonic Hall for a most excellent buffet, and Brothers Martin Morrow, Michael Fielding, Christian Jones, Jake Lowell and Matt Nemiryah for all their hard work to make the event so enjoyable for all.
